Membership Terms and Conditions
1. Membership and Access
1.1. Membership with Workspaces grants access to the facilities based on the type of membership selected (Single Desk, Magpie (2-seater), Emu/Platypus (4-seater), Wallaby (8-seater)).
1.2. Access hours vary by membership plan. Standard access is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Extended access outside these days/hours may be granted upon request and subject to availability.
1.3. Credit hours are deducted in full-hour increments. Partial use of an hour will be rounded up and counted as one full hour. Credit hours cannot be prorated or deducted by the minute.
1.4. All memberships are prepaid and do not auto-renew. Upon the end of the selected membership period or the exhaustion of credit hours—whichever comes first—access to Workspaces will be suspended unless a new membership is purchased and confirmed. Members must renew by selecting a new plan and completing payment to continue using the facilities.
1.5. For room-based memberships, all room bookings must be made in advance to ensure availability. Same-day bookings are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Workspaces encourages early booking to secure preferred time slots.
1.6. Members are permitted to share their monthly credit hours with colleagues, guests, or third parties, provided all such usage complies with Workspaces’ standard booking procedures. The primary member shall remain fully responsible and liable for all bookings, conduct, and activity carried out under their membership account, whether by themselves or any individual utilizing their shared hours.
2. Fees and Billing
2.1. All membership fees must be paid in advance based on the credit hours and membership duration selected by the member at the time of registration. Fees are calculated according to the chosen plan and are due prior to the start of the membership period.
2.2. Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and any other methods approved by Workspaces. All payments must be completed in full to activate or renew access.
2.3. Memberships are non-refundable. Any unused credit hours within the selected period will not roll over or be refunded.
2.5. Workspaces reserves the right to adjust pricing, billing terms, or membership structures with a minimum of 30 days’ written notice to members.
3. Facilities Usage
3.1. Members may use the outlets, high-speed Wi-Fi, and drinking water.
3.2. The lounge must be used considerately and left tidy after use.
4. Technology and Internet
4.1. High-speed Wi-Fi is provided; however, SOS does not guarantee uninterrupted access or performance.
4.2. Members must not use the network for illegal downloads, streaming, or harmful content.
4.3. SOS disclaims responsibility for data breaches, hacking, or personal data loss.
5. Conduct and Community
5.1. Members agree to maintain a respectful, professional, and inclusive environment.
5.2. Disruptive behavior, harassment, or damage to property will lead to immediate termination without refund.
5.3. Workspaces reserves the right to refuse or cancel membership at its sole discretion.
6. Liability and Insurance
6.1. Members are solely responsible for their personal property and equipment.
6.2. SOS is not liable for theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings.
6.3. Members are encouraged to carry their own insurance for equipment and personal liability.
7. Health, Safety, and Security
7.1. Members must comply with all safety and health regulations in force.
7.2. Emergency exits must remain unobstructed, and safety signage must be followed at all times.
7.3. Security cameras may operate in common areas for safety and monitoring.
8. Cancellation and Termination
8.1. Members may cancel their membership with at least 7 days’ written notice.
8.2. No refunds will be issued for mid-month cancellations or unused services.
8.3. SOS may terminate memberships without prior notice in the case of terms violation.
9. Amendments and Notices
9.1. SOS reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be communicated via email and posted on the official website.
9.2. Continued use of the space after updates implies acceptance of the revised terms.
